Training and Knowledge Sharing

Royal Marine Engineering encourages continuous learning culture for both individuals and society. In addition to in-house training and knowledge sharing on Safety, Quality and Technical, we have extended our first knowledge sharing session to the maintenance engineers at Lotte Yangon, which is one of our valued clients regarding our Hotel Maintenance Services, on 12/06/2024. The purpose is for learning together to enhance understanding on boiler operation safety, maintenance and problem solving on technical issues. We will strive for the continuous learning culture in order to improve skills, competence and performance.

Fabrication and Installation of Underground Oil Storage Tank & Piping System

Royal Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. is awarded for the above-mentioned project on April 2025. Construction of the Underground Oil Storage Tank was completed at the RME Workshop. The installation of the tanks including the piping systems shall be proceeded when the civil works are ready at The Taste Origins Factory, which is located at the Thilawa Special Economic Zone.

During the construction stage, the fabrication was done with proper quality control at each major process such as Verification of Tank Design Drawings, Material Inspection, Welding Process requirements (WPS, PQR and WPQ), Non-Destructive Testing (Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Ultrasonic Testing), and Hydrostatic Testing. For the prevention of corrosion, surface cleaning and 3 coats painting was also done. The technical information is described as follows:
